We’re pretty excited that the Mayans (or their pop-culture analysts, to be precise) were wrong and we get to stick around and talk about writing for another semester!
After all, last semester we worked on well over 700 appointments with over 266 unique students! We’re proud of the reputation we have on campus; sample feedback for the semester included:
- I really like that every person I have worked with is direct, has a pleasant disposition, and is very helpful with my papers.
- I can get help and feedback from my peers who can take a look at what I am writing. They can tell me what I need to fix, and I can go in more confident when I turn in my papers.
- The tutors that I have had are incredibly amazing. They offer me small and large tips on how to improve my writing no matter the topic of the paper.
To help better facilitate our sessions, we’re also excited to unveil some modest, but much-needed renovations in our office in Hill 111, including new desks, a room divider, etc. More plans re. our space are underway–we’ll keep you posted.
One thing won’t change, of course–our candy basket is always full!
